I my opinion, its a great effort from Google’s side.
Video Blogs are increasing day by day and most of them are using copyright protected videos uploaded in YouTube or Google Video or other hosting services.
If you just browse through the Blogger Blogs (The ‘Next Blog’ button on the blogger top navigation bar) one in every ten blogs is a Video Blog hosting copyright protected material as the so called content of the blog. They even do not care to put a link back to the original uploader or any description about the video. And not to mention, most of them are “Spicy” in nature.
Google is taking a step (!) to warn publishers in a different way. I really wonder how long this spirit will last. I never saw a reported site with illegal activity got suspended where honest publishers with little invalid click activity got their share of punishment.
Its from their blog:

  • Adult or mature: Includes, but is not limited to, images and videos containing sexual activity, full nudity, and lewd poses. Please review this recent post to determine whether your content might fall into this category.
  • Violent or gory: Can include images and videos of street-fighting, people hurting each other, or gruesome accidents and their victims.
  • Culturally insensitive or hate speech: Includes content promoting racial intolerance or advocating against a specific individual, group, or organization.

I know I am talking rubbish.. but at least I am not offending any people by posting their copyrighted material. You can check the post from Adsense here.
