How to insert Search Engine Friendly Meta Tags in BlogSpot blogs


Meta Tags are normally use to increase your blog’s visibility to Search Engines. Adding it in proper manner will help you to increase the chances of getting a higher SERP in Search Engine War.

Login to you blogger account, and then go to the dashboard of the blog you want to insert the meta tags or just click on the Layout of the blog in Blogger Dashboard.
Now click on the Edit HTML tab. At the html codes, add this two lines anywhere in between <head> and </head>.

<meta name=”Description” content=”Your Description Here”>
<meta name=”Keywords” content=”Your Keywords Here, Comma Separated”>

Now save it. Thats all, you are done with inserting meta tags.

  1. It will Display meta tags for entire website, But how about if we want for each & every page.
    For wordpress there are plug-ins for this technic, do we have anything like that for blogger also?

  3. You need to have an account with PPC Ad Network.
    Try Google Adsense and Chitika.
    Join them and follow the instructions they provide to insert add on your site.

    Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
    XML error message: Open quote is expected for attribute “{1}” associated with an element type “name”.

    what could be the problem?

  5. Try manually typing the codes instead of copy/paste it..
    The quotation marks here in this post is messed up due to that blockquote.
