Link Building Tips : Part 1

Link Building, the most irretating and most time consuming part of SEO. But, its simply unavoidable as its the lifeline of Search Engine Rankings.
New webmasters always ask why its so important all the time to rank, why? well, backlinks increases your page’s popularity to visitors as well as in Search Engines.

Let me give you an example, if I link a site from this post, you (and other readers) will definitely think that the site I have linked contains some useful information about this same topic. So, if you are looking for more information, you will follow that link. Search Engines will do the same thing.
Note that, Google, the leader of Search Engines do not all the backlinks you got. Due to their recent update in algorithm, they just count quality backlinks. They have their own system (PageRank) to measure the quality of a web page. While, both Yahoo and MSN count all the backlinks you got, but, MSN is little lazy to index them.
If you wanna check the exact number of backlinks you got, never search it on Google, rather search on Yahoo or other backlink checker tools available on the net. For those, who do not know how to check backlinks indexed in a Search engine, just search for the term “link:domain.ext” replacing domain.ext with your domain name.

Remember, Google do not show the backliks they indexed for your site, but they do count all of them to determine that SERP for your site.
